Fleurs🌸

Flowers are loved by everyone and are found in almost every occasion of life be it a sad one or a happy one. I personally decided to use them in a fun way Flowers are the most popular prop that is being used in photography for years but we still can’t seem to get enough of it and our obsession keeps on growing. Well, well no surprises here as I have joined the floral trend and am adding more to the already existing infinite collection  I know, I know I might sound a little too boring for some of you but trust me I wouldn't disappoint you if you would just scroll down a little bit (that's what I'd like to think haha😂

Recently I got the opportunity to do a professional photoshoot with an amazing photographer @kavishphotography

When I decided on flowers I knew I didn't want my colour scheme to be limited to just pinks and white. I absolutely love playing with colours hence I decided to get my hands on a variety of colourful flowers. While playing with colourful flowers was my decision, wearing neutral coloured attire was my smart choice.

Colourful flowers stand out the most when you have a nice neutral background and that is exactly what I wanted. The moment I saw the flowers I knew I wanted them to stand out more than anything hence opting for a plain white crop top and grey and white pair of pants seemed appropriate to me.

Curled up hair, glowy skin, blushed up cheeks and peachy eyes pulled the look together with the right amount of fun and elegance.

Sharing here are some of my pictures from the shoot

Dressy Vibes

Hey Guys!
Welcome Back.

So for today's post I am bringing back my love for denim skirts. According to me having a pair of plain denim skirt in your wardrobe is a staple. But sometimes you should try something fun and exciting. Trying something new and funky is always fun.

Recently I went shopping and saw this floral embroidered skirt and instantly fell in love with it. The moment I saw this skirt I new I had to get it. It has some cool vibes going on. I am in total love with the way it fits and looks on me.

I paired my skirt with a mustard colour cropped blouse which I recently got from Myntra. I wanted to keep my accessories as minimal as possible so I added a pair of black hoop earings and my new favourite black peep toe heels. You can easily dress up or dress down this look according to your preferences.

For my makeup I did a denim blue eyeshadow along my upper lash line and then smudged it all along. I kept my makeup pretty neutral with lightly filled in eyebrows.

I tied my hair up in a ponytail but with this kind of look leaving your hair open or doing a messy bun would also work.

This look is perfect for an upcoming event or a brunch. I hope you guys liked this look. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

The Bold Look

 Hey Guys!
Welcome Back.

Today I wanted to post about something more dressier and bold than I usually post. I wanted to style this beautiful strapless dress for a really long time and I finally got a chance to do it.

As per my knowledge, the definition of a strapless dress is that it is bold, sexy and quite tricky to pull off but when you find the right pieces to showcase the dress in a way its meant to, you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Finding the right balance is the key. Besides a strapless dress is always a bold and stylish option.

I wore this strapless dress with a silver statement neck piece and a pair of black peep toe heels. This look is perfect for a Sunday night.

Keeping in mind the neutral colour of my dress and how bold the entire look is I did a bold makeup look with brown smokey eyes, heavy contoured cheekbones and hot pink lips. And as for my hair I kept it really simple by doing a messy bun.

This look might not be for everyone but pairing it with a jacket of your choice you can easily pull off this look according to your comfort level and liking.

Black and White

Hey Guys! Welcome Back.

I am back with one more monochromatic outfit. I probably think that by now you know my love for black and white colour. I think these are the two easiest yet super chic colours of all the time. Everyone can rock these colours as it is very difficult to mess up this timeless combination. This contrasting colour combination is universal and very appealing. You also don't have to spend much time worrying about the accessories as it goes with almost everything. You can easily adapt to this colour combination to your personality and comfort level.

So coming to my outfit I wore a black and white horizontal stripped skirt which had slit on one side with a plain black crop top and a bralette underneath. As for my accessories I added a pair of black hoops and plain white sandals. There is not much to say about this look as it is very basic and street style.

Coming to my makeup I had a light face of makeup with just the right amount of colour. With this kind of outfit you can easily do a natural makeup look or go all glamorous .

I hope you guys liked my look. Do let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

Neutral Palatte

Hey Guys! Welcome Back.

Firstly I want to start this blog by apologizing to everyone for being so inconsistent. I wanted to post this look for quite some time now but it kept getting delayed. But now I assure you to try and be much more consistent with my upcoming blogs.

So starting with today's outfit I am wearing a thigh-high slit T-shirt dress paired with a tan belt that cinches at the waist and added a pair of white shoes. Wearing a belt with an over-sized T-shirt dress gives you a more structured look. If you have been keeping up with my blogs you already know my love for neutral colours. Playing with all neutrals in the outfit can sometimes be a little tricky but layering will make it easier.

Now coming to my makeup I did a soft smokey eye with brown lips. Smokey eyes is an effect created by applying two or more dark eyeshadows on the eyelids and then applying a darker eyeliner and smudging it along the upper and lower lash line. But for my soft smokey eye look I applied a light wash of dark drown eyeshadow  on my entire eyelids and then using a black kohl I smudged it along my upper lash line. Brownish nude tonnes were the dominant in my entire makeup look.

Monochromatic Hues

Hey Guys!
 Welcome Back.

Sticking to monochromatic pieces is often an easy and stylish way to wear outfits. The word monochromatic breaks down into two separate words 'MONO' meaning single and 'CHROMATIC' meaning colour. It simply means that a monochromatic outfit consists of various shades of one colour. The light tints and dark hues of a single colour also make a monochromatic outfit.

I personally opted for a black rose printed midi dress that cinched at the waist. To keep the outfit pretty simple I added a watch and a pair of black flats. My hair was tied by my sister into a side french braid which complimented the look perfectly. Brownish nude tonnes were the dominant in my makeup. It is a super casual, comfortable and summer appropriate outfit.
