Monochromatic Hues

Hey Guys!
 Welcome Back.

Sticking to monochromatic pieces is often an easy and stylish way to wear outfits. The word monochromatic breaks down into two separate words 'MONO' meaning single and 'CHROMATIC' meaning colour. It simply means that a monochromatic outfit consists of various shades of one colour. The light tints and dark hues of a single colour also make a monochromatic outfit.

I personally opted for a black rose printed midi dress that cinched at the waist. To keep the outfit pretty simple I added a watch and a pair of black flats. My hair was tied by my sister into a side french braid which complimented the look perfectly. Brownish nude tonnes were the dominant in my makeup. It is a super casual, comfortable and summer appropriate outfit.

Conventional Attire

Hey Guys! Welcome Back

My love for Indian Ethnic Wear is real. Recently I attended one of my cousins wedding and I thought of sharing my outfit with you guys. Keeping summers in mind I opted for a peachy orange lehenga with contrasting dupatta. The colour orange speaks out to me in summers so I decided to go for it. As my lehenga is quite plain and simple I decided to go for a heavy blouse.

I decided to add a pair of earings, a mang tikka, a nath and a set of bangles. To complete this outfit I added a pair of golden wedges.

As for my makeup, I have a lot to say as I went for a peachy monochromatic makeup look. Monochromatic makeup means just using one shade range on your eyes, cheeks and lips. If you read my previous blogs you already know that i love dewy, glowy skin. But for today's base I opted for a matte foundation as it controls excess oil and sweat and keeps your base intact. I went ahead and contoured my cheek bones a tad bit to give my face a more chiseled look. To finish this look I added a golden bindi.

As for my hairstyle, I went ahead and did a pretty simple fish tale braid.

If you didn't already realize this is my first ethnic wear post and I hope you guys liked it. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

Voguish Denim

Hey Guys!
Welcome Back

Denim skirts never go out of fashion and keeping that in mind I have styled my mini denim skirt with an olive green crop top. You can easily dress up or dress down a denim skirt. It can be paired with a white tee, sweatshirt, shirt, crop top or even a denim on denim look. I absolutely loved the way my outfit turned out. To make the look more classy I added an oxidized neck piece and my white canvas shoes. This outfit can be worn for brunch, shopping, hangouts or any casual occasion.

For my makeup I have keep it really simple with minimal face of makeup and pink lips as I want this outfit to stand out.
